Tacky Snowboard Test - Yes 156.5

Scheveningen, Holland, 9/30/2009 by Anthonie de Vries
We have two Yes boards in the test; 'The yellow one' and 'the black and red one'. The yellow one is 156.5 centimeters tall and has a asymmetric rocker. The graphics are basic but the board does rock!
Board specifications
Length: 156.5
Type: Freestyle
Shape: Twin-Tip
Base: Sintered
Technical Features:
Asymmetric Rocker, Twin-Tip Ultimate Grip.

Test results
Flex/Stifness 1-10 (1 is flexible, 10 is stiff)
6-8
Good stiffness, with the rocker-shape you can have the board a bit stiffer than you would normally ride.

Pop 1-10
8

Really good pop!

Terrain 1-10(1 not suited, 10 very suited)
Rails - 7
Kicker - 7
Slopes - 7
This board is average on all terrain. The rocker is really subtle, but helps with landings and at high speeds.

Looks
'The Yellow Yes', like we called it during our test in Switzerland, is... very yellow! It has YES writen in purple and the base is purple with yellow. It looks very candyish.

Technical features
We didn't have any background information about the technical features in this board from this brand new company. The rocker does feel really good!

Extras
No real extras.

Pros
YES!, good rocker, candy colors. Small brand making a great board.

Cons
Only one size?

Who would like this board? Level 1-10
6

Park riders who like to do everything.

Remarks:
YES

Happiness Factor 1-10 (How much did our testers like the board?)
8

You might not like the candy looks but the ride is perfect!
